To wipe or not to wipe...
Let me start by saying I love my mom, she really is a great woman, and I love having her here. Now, she can really drive me crazy. She continually tells me what I'm doing wrong, what I need to do and why. Some times she's right, and sometimes she is wrong (I can say that cause she can't read this in english!) But today she said that I shouldn't wipe Jake anymore, he's too old. A part of me would love not having to wipe Jake's little butty anymore, but I don't think I can let go yet, just the thought of him not doing a good job drives me crazy. So, is he really too old???

Get the flushable wipes like Huggies or Target brand, he'll be cleaner that way. I still wipe Maggie when we're out in public cause I don't think she can do a good enough job with just the paper alone.
I love your blog!
Thanks Rachel, that's a good idea! So are you basically saying that my mom was right? :)
By the way congratulations!!
i think you can still wipe him. i think you should not quit cold turkey! gradually quit. about the time he is in 6th or 7th grade you should be doing it once a month or so.
Thanks for the advice. I'm sure you have lots of experience!!
I agree with rachel about the wipes. Also, you both will figure out pretty quick if he is not doing a good job, cause he will hurt, and tell you so, probably in a very public setting! As long as he can do it by Kindergarten, you are fine!
I wonder why we don't have any of those fancy wipes...if they are such a good idea...I would still let someone else wipe me if they would...Welcome to the Blogs...You have already done all three of the most critical things in blogging. 1. You have blogged a controversial picture of someone or something that will embarrass someone. (that closet is atrocious) 2. You have blogged something that is inappropriate...or might hurt someones feelings if they only read it (and congrats for bringing in the whole Multi-cultural language issue...very brave with the likes of Babble Fish sites, etc...)
3. You have blogged multiple times in a single week. Quantity over quality...in almost every area of life...is a rule...except for say...food, kids, and well...Spouses. Actually, maybe that Only holds true for Blogging.
Keep up the good words..and don't let the nay sayers, and spell checkers, and butt word worriers give you any static. They are all just jealous that they can't tan.
Thanks so much Mr Hillenblog for your words of affirmation, I needed that. You're right, the problem is my tan :)
